AKC S.T.A.R. Puppysm Program
Get started on the right paw with your new puppy with this fun and informative class! Learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy and begin building a lifelong relationship. Classes include socialization with people and dogs, problem prevention, introduction to obedience,and behavior solutions. Class ends with a AKC S.T.A.R Puppy test.
For puppies 8 weeks-5 months old.

Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog what is expected of him through obedience training. We use reward based motivational training to help you bring out the best in your best friend. Class includes practical exercises such as come back when called, walk on a loose leash, sit-stay, down-stay, place (boundary-stay), and behavior solutions.

The Basic Refresher class is a great way to brush up on basic obedience and continuing to build a stronger relationship with your dog.

Agility I- Obstacles
Agility is a fun and exciting way to continue building the bond you share with your dog while building confidence and drive. Obstacles include the tire, tunnel, jumps, a-frame, dog walk, chute, weaves, and an introduction to handling skills. This is a great way to give your dog the exercise he truly needs! CGC test is conducted in the final class. |

NEW! Therapy Dog Preparation Class
This class is to teach you and your dog the necessary skills to become a therapy dog team. You will learn skills that will be needed to visit facilities of your choice, such as schools, hospitals, nursing homes, libraries and more! Prerequisites, your dog must be a year old and have a Canine Good Citizen Certification. Upon completion of class, there will be information available about upcoming Therapy Dogs International (TDI) evaluations being conducted at Triple Crown. You will be responsible for finding a test for any other Therapy Dog Program you may be interested in.

Junior Handlers I
This 5 day fun filled, educational camp allows children ages 8-14 years to learn about dogs with professional guidance and interaction. Dog safety and responsible pet ownership are just a few of the topics covered. Not only will you see and learn about all of the amazing things that dogs can do, we will also teach you how to interact with them through hands on demonstrations that include Clicker tricks, Agility, Search and Rescue, Frisbee/disc dog, and Scent detection. Pet Tech Pet First Aid & CPR Pet Saver™ Program
Triple Crown Academy is proud to offer the Pet Tech's Pet First Aid & CPR Pet Saver™ Program! The Pet Saver™ Program is a six hour course that will cover a number of valuable first aid skills and information to help keep pets happy and healthy. Additionally, each participant will receive the PetSaver™ handbook and a certificate upon completion. Topics include: restraining and muzzling, rescue breathing, CPR for canines and felines, snout to tail assessments, assessing vitals, bleeding and shock management, heat and cold injuries, and dental care. |
